How DailyBI handles personal information.

Information we collect

We collect information you provide, such as your name, work contact details, organisation, role, account or profile information, messages, feedback, support requests, and information you choose to submit through the Services.

We may also collect technical and usage information, including device and browser details, IP address, log data, pages or features used, dates and times, referral information, and security signals. If you or your organisation connects an integration or authorises another source, we may receive information from that source.

How we use information

We use information to provide, operate, personalise, secure, support, and improve the Services; manage beta access and accounts; communicate with you; understand performance and usage; prevent fraud and abuse; comply with law; and enforce our agreements.

Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we rely on consent, performance of a contract, compliance with legal obligations, or our legitimate interests in operating, improving, and protecting the Services.

How we share information

We may share information with service providers that support hosting and infrastructure, security, analytics, communications, customer support, and professional services. They may use information only to perform services for us or as otherwise permitted by law.

We may also disclose information to your organisation's authorised administrators, in connection with a business transaction, or when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights and safety, or investigate misuse. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.

Cookies and similar technologies

We and our service providers may use cookies and similar technologies needed to operate and secure the Services. If we introduce optional analytics or preference technologies, we will provide any notice or choices required by applicable law.

Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this notice. In deciding how long to retain it, we consider the nature and sensitivity of the information, the services involved, potential risks, and legal or operational requirements.

For example, waitlist contact information is ordinarily retained until the relevant beta waitlist closes or for up to 24 months after signup, whichever occurs first. Short-lived abuse-prevention data expires on a much shorter schedule. We may retain information longer where required for legal, accounting, security, or dispute-resolution purposes.

Security and international processing

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organisational safeguards designed to protect personal information. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure. Because we and our service providers may operate in multiple countries, information may be processed outside your country. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a copy of your personal information, and to withdraw consent where we rely on it. You can opt out of non-essential product communications by using the unsubscribe link in a message or contacting us. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.

Children

The Services are intended for business users and are not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16.

We may update this notice as the Services evolve or legal requirements change. We will update the date below and provide additional notice where required.
